Who will you become?

Walk your character through a life.
Childhood, adolescence, the long road to adulthood — begin as someone with a past. A marsh-village fisher who took an apprenticeship under a wandering cook. A blacksmith's daughter who left home with a stolen bow. The history is yours before the first roll.

Then the story begins.
Raise the walls of a home before the first snow. Track a wolf into the trees. Spend the afternoon turning a day's catch into something that'll keep through winter. Set the world as forgiving or as unforgiving as you can stomach, and live with what you chose.

When you finish for the night.
Your characters stay where you left them. Ready for next time.
A world that keeps going.
Some worlds run for a weekend. Some run for years. Untold Lore is built so they can run for decades.

Before you arrived
The world has been here before you.
The faction you've never heard of has been at war with another faction you've never heard of for longer than your character has been alive. The road you're walking has a name. The guild gathering at the inn tonight has been gathering on the same nights, in the same hall, since before you knew the city existed. Every place you arrive in already has its own quiet history.

While you're away
The world will move on without you.
Log off Tuesday, come back Friday, and the world has moved without you. The faction you joined fought a battle while you slept. The market in the town square has new faces. Someone laid the foundation of a tower on the hill where there used to be nothing. Stories happen whether you're there to see them or not.

And yet
You are part of the social fabric.
The shopkeeper has a reason to remember you, or a reason to forget. The dragon someone spotted in the next valley is already a forum thread, and your name is in it. The home you built is the home others know to find you in. Bury a friend properly when their character finally falls; the memorial stays.
On the horizon.
Untold Lore is playable today, and growing in directions bigger than any list could capture. We're building this for the long haul — for years of your campaigns, for decades of your communities — and the road ahead is wide.
